Dr. Ross W. McQuivey is the Chief Medical Officer for Laborie Medical Technologies (USA). He is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty Member of Stanford University Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has served as a visiting professor in the Port Moresby General Hospital (Papua New Guinea) as an outreach obstetrician, working under the tutelage of the late, Professor Aldo Vacca. He has become a well recognized global expert on vacuum-assisted delivery.
Dr. McQuivey completed his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and did his medical school and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. During his training, he was twice recognized for excellence in teaching. Dr. McQuivey is well published, especially in the area of vacuum-assisted delivery. For more than 15 years, he has provided educational seminars, lectures and hands-on simulation workshops on obstetric topics around the world, including his highly rated operative vaginal delivery course. He is married and a proud father of 3 children.
